Data handling
What a scan reads
A scan downloads one archive of the public repository you named, reads its .lean files, lean-toolchain and Lake manifest in memory, and discards the archive. Source code is never stored.
What is kept
- Scan results: the repository address, commit, versions, totals and the list of matched names with file and line. An anonymous scan result is kept so its link keeps working.
- Your account: your email, your saved projects, their scans, your monthly scan count, and any answer you send to the in-app question.
- Messages you send through the contact form.
- Visits: a page-view count using a per-day hashed identifier; no cookies for visitors who do not sign in, and no third-party trackers.
Your controls
Signed in, export everything as JSON or delete your account, projects and scans in one step. To have a project removed from the benchmark, use the removal form.
